Currently we do not have any job openings. If we ever have significant openings, we will post about the opening on our Instagram account.​​
What is your hiring process?
​
When we first hire someone, it will typically be for a short term freelance engagement on a specific project. Once someone is in our roster, we will often come back to them again with other opportunities.
Do you have internships?
​
We are currently planning our inaugural mentorship program for 2025. When we are ready to accept applications, we will post the news on our Instagram account.
Can I send you my portfolio?

We are happy to receive portfolio submissions and other inquiries at our e-mail address. However, we are unfortunately we are not able to respond to each submission.
What do you look for in a portfolio?
​
Since we are a small studio, many of our employees do multiple things in their jobs. Because of this, we often look for people who demonstrate an ability to do more than one thing, or who show an understanding of or interest in the full animation pipeline. Additionally, we look for artists with unique voices.
Do you have advice for someone who would like to work for Chromosphere one day?

Make things! Whatever inspires you, try your best to keep making things every day.
Can I pitch you an idea?
​
Unfortunately we do not have the resources to help develop other peoples' ideas, so generally we do not take pitches.

What kinds of projects are you open to?
​
We do many different kinds of projects, and each one is custom built from the ground up. Some of the project types we specialize in are short films, title sequences, visual development, and explainer videos. We have also done comic books, social media videos, VR films, interactive projects, music videos, and commercials, to name a few.
Do you have a house style?
​
We create a unique style and vision for each new project we work on. We like to say there is a "Chromosphere sensibility" to how we approach things, but not a specific house style.
Process
What software do you use?
​
Some of the software packages we use most often are Photoshop, Animate, AfterFX, Maya, and Unreal.​​​​
How do you make animation?
​
We made a Process page where you can read more about our typical methods for making animation. You can also pursue many detailed case studies about our past projects on our old studio website.
Do you use AI to make art or animation?
​
No.
